Little Roots Gardening & Farm Summer Camps 

We will be offering 11 weeks of camps for the 2025 year.  We are offering alternating camp weeks for 4-6 year old's and 7-12 year old's.  NEW this year will be our camp location on a LIVE DAIRY FARM!

Pricing, dates, and descriptions are outlined below! ***NOTE: I am very flexible with the ages if siblings want to attend together 😊

Please note a few important details:

• Registration for Little Roots can be accessed by using the buttons above (these will be active on the opening day of registration).  A payment link for Little Roots will be sent after the form has been received.  
• Camps are scheduled for a full week, we do not offer single days at this time.
• We have a minimum requirement for the camps each week.  If the minimum is not and we need to cancel a week, we will contact you to transfer your week or you will receive a 100% refund.
• If your child is staying for a full day, we will ask that you provide a packed lunch.

Pricing

Little Roots Gardening & Farm Camp (half day, 4 hours) - $225.00 per week (morning 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) (afternoon 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

Little Roots Gardening & Farm Camp (full day, 7.5 hours)- $450.00 per week (8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

Camp Description Little Roots Gardening & Farm 

We are providing a week long gardening & farm themed summer camp!  We will provide hands on learning, in the garden and with farm animals. Each day will be spent actually digging in the garden, feeding the animals, making fun garden projects, arts and crafts, forest adventures, and time to explore!  

We will be creating projects each day that your camper will be able to take home at the end of the week, these include (but are not limited to) worm jars, fairy houses, toad abodes, garden journals, butterfly feeders, grass hut houses, microgreen planters, etc.  We hope that each child walks away from the week with knowledge on how to start growing their own garden, maintaining a garden, maintaining small animal pens, learning to care for small farm animals, and newfound friendships!   

Friday is WATER DAY & Dress Up Day!   We will have a fun water day with a water slide, splash pad, kiddie pools, and smores for the first part of the day 😊  If they are staying for a whole day, we will be re-creating a REAL LIFE Jane Austen garden tea party (with dress up clothes) and REAL LIFE hobbit themed build-your-own-nature-home (with dress up clothes) in the afternoon.  I am SO excited to see the imagination take over for this event! 

We alternate the garden and art projects we create each week for the age groups.  This will give him/her an opportunity to enjoy multiple sessions!

Schedule (this may vary depending on what interesting things we get into during certain times, the outdoors can lead to lots of adventures!)

Drop off 8:15 - 8:30 a.m.

Garden art project/Lesson on plant for the days theme 8:30 - 9:00

Clean Up/Handwashing 9:00 - 9:10

Feed the animals - 9:10 - 9:40

Tend/Plant/Harvest in the garden 9:45 - 10:30

Snack time 10:30 - 10:50

Clean up/Wash Hands 10:50 - 11:00

Garden Project 11:00 - 11:45

Clean up and get ready for lunch 11:45 - 12:00

Lunch 12:00 - 12:30 OR 1:00 (full day campers have a one hour lunch and rest time)

Pickup for half day campers 12:30

Farm maintenance - 1:15 - 2:15

Clean up/Wash Hands - 2:15 - 2:30

Animal Focus (this will include grooming, reading books, etc.) - 2:30 - 3:30

Clean up/Wash hands - 3:30 - 3:45

Snack and Recap - 3:45 - 3:55

Pick up for full day campers - 4:00
